ENTRENANDO FUTUROS GUIAS EN BELEN
Este fin de semana recién pasado realizamos una primera experiencia para entrenar guías de turismo aventura. El curso fue financiado por SENCE y ejecutado por la OTEC CORDAP. Los profesores fueron quien escribe y mi amigo Alexander Alexiades. Este curso lo realizamos en un escenario natural e ideal para este tipo de actividades: el pueblo de Belén. Asistieron 19 alumnos, unos más relacionados al turismo que otros, pero todos con las mismas ganas y espíritu de abrirse nuevos horizontes y adquirir nuevas capacidades y habilidades.
Le doy las gracias a cada uno de ellos por atreverse, por confiar en los instructores y por todos los juicios positivos y negativos que nos hicieron al final del curso. En el curso que duró 3 días aprendimos los 7 principios de NO DEJE RASTRO, habilidades para el liderazgo y trabajo en grupo, conocimientos sobre el manejo de riesgos en actividades de aventura y en altura, el aprendizaje de técnicas de trekking y escalada en roca y elementos para el conocimiento y valoración del patrimonio cultural.
Esta primera experiencia nos deja muy motivados y absolutamente convencidos de la imperiosa necesidad de seguir haciendo este tipo de actividades.

This has proven to increase tool life by almost ten times. Nano plans to continue research and development into these techniques due to the vast application range for this type of nanotechnology
